John had been waiting for his day off form work which seemed like an eternity. The idea of spending his day at home relaxing with his girlfriend, Sarah, seemed like the perfect way to recharge. He planned on lounging on the couch, doing some cooking and catching up on his favorite TV shows, and just letting his mind rest.
But, things did not go as planned. Sarah had started her cycle and she was extremely moody. Every little thing seemed to set her off and she constantly complained about the slightest discomfort.
John was trying to ignore it and just stayed out her way to get some rest but she was making it impossible for him to relax. She would pace around the house, loudly sigh and groan, saying with frustration who been in the medicine cabinet cause my ibuprofen isn’t in here uhh. That’s when John tried to comfort her, but she just push him away.
As the day progressed, John's patience began to wear thin. He had had enough of the constant negativity and needed a break. He tried to finding ways to stay away from Sarah so he can relax, suggesting that maybe you should take they take a warm bath or watch a movie,
Sarah: Or you can be a good boyfriend and Get the hell out of my face and go to the pharmacy and get my medicine thank you baby.
John: You better say Thank you baby.
Everything John do seemed to annoy her. So he decided that he needed to take a break and go outside to get some fresh air. He went out and bought her some medicine, chocolate and a six pack of sodas, hoping to cheer her up and ease the tension in the air. But when he got back home, Sarah was in the front room on the sofa sleeping. I could’ve cried cause now I can finally get my much needed rest.
John spent the rest of the day doing things that made him happy. By the end of the day, Sarah woke up from her much needed rest feeling more at ease, but John was glad that he could be there for her without losing his own peace of mind.
