Martha had lived a picture-perfect life. She was happily married to a handsome, successful businessman, Albert, with two gorgeous kids and a nice 5 bedroom house. However, somewhere in the adventure and excitement of life and responsibilities, Martha lost track and fell a victim to lust.

She developed an unusual relationships with Albert's two closest friends, Mike and Edward. At first, she felt free, an adventurous from her perfect life, but she had fell into the depths of cheating for a full ten years. But the overwhelming guilt, along with the constant fear of getting caught, stayed on her conscious which made her increasingly paranoid.

She intended to tell Albert, and confess her secret she had been hiding from him for years, but each time she wanted to tell him she would get nervous and turn around and walk away. Now two years passed by in constant fear and anxiety until the unthinkable happened. Albert discovered what she’s been hiding and it involved his two best friends.

The weight of betrayal distorted Albert’s loving demeanor into an elevation of disgust and disbelief. Martha wish she could just press rewind on life but it’s not that easy. She begged and begged for his forgiveness, but all she got was his frowned up face and complete silence.

A few years later, Martha and Albert was struggling to make their marriage work Two years on, the couple was struggling. Despite Albert’s loving nature, he wasn’t able to forget, deceitfulness Martha had been doing behind his back with who he thought was his friends. In the meantime, Martha had spiraled downward into a world of guilt and heartache.

One day, as Martha watched Albert sitting at the kitchen table sipping his coffee, with questions swirling in her mind on how could she make it all go away? and move forward.

Martha came up with a few ideas. The first one was to go to marriage counseling, and do some research by reading books with solution and methods, and sought advice from others. But she had a strange feeling that it might have been too late with the damage already being done. If only she had magic wand to erase the pain. However, Martha understood that couldn’t erase the pain, but she had one more idea the last resort that could heal there situation.

Martha apologized profusely and sincerely to Albert, promising him that it would never happen again, and begged for a chance to make things right. Albert remained silent, barely-nodding his head in agreement. Over time, Martha main purpose was to actively engaged herself in gaining Albert's trust back with honesty by displaying honesty.

With consistent efforts to make things right, they embarked on their long and tiresome journey towards forgiveness. They made an agreement to address any issues between them. Albert agreed on going to therapy together to rebuild their broken marriage. The path was undoubtedly tough, with numerous obstacles in their way. Still, Martha didn’t give up hoping someday, they'd move past this rough patch and regain their love for each other.

It was indeed the toughest fight of their lives. A test to regain trust, and most importantly, for Albert to forgive and forget. Despite all drama, and their relentless quests was evidence of their shared love, and the strength of their relationship.

They began the process of reconnecting as a couple. After some time, there was a tiny sparkle of hope in Albert’s eyes. Martha heart fluttered with the distant possibility of forgiveness. Their journey was nowhere near over, but there was some second guessing from Albert that made their  relationship had turned stone-cold with him thinking history can repeat itself. A week later Albert filed for a divorce. Martha was shocked.

In the end, Albert he knew deep down he couldn’t be with Martha saying to himself: “she was with both of my best friends I can’t live with that on my conscious plus 10 years of lies. Albert finally found peace and went on with his life trying to block it out mind, bit by bit, day by day.
