He Finally Came And Left With Nothing

The constant struggle, where Monday through Friday and sometimes Saturday  is a testament to the 9-to-5 hustle, lived a man named Joe. Joe was an average Joe, working diligently at his job, saving penny by penny for a future he hoped would be brighter than the harsh fluorescent lights of his office.

One evening, as Joe scrolled through his social media feed, he stumbled upon a post that caught his eye. It claimed that the man behind the moon had been discovered, and the Jetsons were set to land any minute now. The post was shared thousands of times, with comments ranging from “Oh the time has come” to “The end is here”. What a bunch of idiots. Joe chuckled at the absurdity but couldn't shake off a nagging thought – I bet somebody at work going to go overboard with it.

Moon, stars in night sky, He Finally Came And Left With Nothing

The next day at work, Joe overheard his coworker’s discussing the same post. To his surprise, many believed it. They spoke with such conviction they had it sounding real they fooled themselves. But could there be a little grain of truth in this toilet bowl of fiction? Then when he thought about it these are the type of guys that would bring sand to the beach.

As days passed, the story evolved. New "evidence" surfaced, and more people brought telescopes and joined the bandwagon. Joe watched as the world around him got swept up in the frenzy while they come up with another way to stick it us. He saw people investing in gadgets getting ready for George and Elroy and the rest of the Jetson to land, and others preparing welcome signs for the lunar year eclipse or whatever you call it.

Meanwhile, Joe kept to his routine, saving diligently, ignoring the noise. That is until the government announced a new "Future Preparedness Tax," targeting savings to fund this supposed inflation.

Joe was angry. His hard-earned savings, the security he built for himself, until the distraction came up, a straight in your face hoax. He realized that the line between reality and fiction had set in, and the consequences were all too real.

He decided to take action. Joe started a blog, "It’s Up There, Use It," where he dissected popular social media myths with a blend of humor and hard facts. He shared stories of people who had been up and down in their life, offering a platform for authenticity in a world of fabrications.

"It’s Up There, Use It" resonated with all people to the 9-to-5 workers, the savers, the dreamers who seen the truth amidst the chaos. Joe's blog became a beacon of reality, reminding people to question, to think, and to protect what they worked so tirelessly for.

And as for the man behind the moon? Well, he came and left empty handed so he remained a figment of the imagination, a cautionary tale for those who brought telescopes to look at their phone screen instead of the stars.
