Rosa and Charlie
This love story comes from the urban streets where Rosa and Charlie would meet. Their lives, two bodies, pulled toward each other like magnets that was falling to strong break at this moment in time.
Rosa, an artist in the kitchen with the way she put an American and Spanish dish together. Her eyes were beautiful light brown. Her hair, black and curly, and a smile that brightened up grey morning.
Charlie, a writer a publisher of stories. His voice was deep and calm. His eyes, were brown and full of excitement.
Their first encounter was serendipitous—a simple kindness of him a being a gentleman by opening the door for her and telling her how beautiful she was. Her beautiful smile was her way of telling me thank you. Their eyes connected every time they saw each other.
From then on, they never separated from each other getting to know one another. It’s a slow process and they both were thinking about each other even if they don’t show it. Their thoughts were the same. Rosa wondered if Charlie was thinking about her and what he’s up to. Charlie wondered if Rosa is thinking about him and how beautiful she is. They exchanged words—about cooking, writing, and the future plans—but their hearts spoke a language beyond words.
One evening, as the sun was setting, Rosa and Charlie found themselves on the top floor of a building. Where the city lights flickering like the stars in the sky. Rosa turns and looks at Charlie. He looks back at Rosa.
"Tell me," Rosa whispered, her eyes tracing the skyline. "What do you see when you look at the stars?"
Charlie leaned closer, their shoulders touching. "I see our stories," he said. "Each star holds a memory, a wish, a love unspoken."
"And what do you see?" Charlie asked, Rosa replied “I see comfort, safety, and honesty with love.
Charlie started smiling. "Us? We're a collision of cosmic dust," he said. "Two souls drawn together across time and space."
Rosa's heart fluttered. "Do you believe in fate?"
Charlie's smiled. "I believe in us," he said. "And that's enough."
And so, on the top floor of the building, beneath a sky filled with stars, Rosa and Charlie leaned in. Their lips met—a start to new beginnings. The city faded, and they became the center of the universe, spinning in their own orbit.
As they pulled away, Rosa whispered, "If we were to start dating, do you think it could be something special?"
Charlie's laughter echoed. "Rosa," he said, "we're already something special."
And in that moment, Rosa and Charlie embarked on a love story written in stardust—an unexpected connection that defied time and reason.
Estoy dispuesto a intentarlo.
