Ain’t Nothing Goofy About Betrayal

Mickey Mouse Minnie Mouse and goofy

Mickey was at his limit with Minnie's shenanigans. Three years of suspicious late nights, unexplained absences, and that damn perfume he couldn't place. The final straw came when he checked her phone while she slept and found the texts - explicit messages between her and his so-called best friend.

He'd caught glimpses of them together before, they could be seen having conversations that stopped when he approached, but seeing those messages confirmed everything. Mickey hired a PI who delivered the gut-punch evidence: photos of Minnie sneaking into Goofy's apartment at 2 AM, not leaving until morning.

Mickey stood at Goofy's door with a cold smile across his face, fire burning inside him. He'd never felt so betrayed in his life, yet he played it cool. "What's up, old buddy o’l pal? Thought I'd swing by on my lunch break, see what you're up to." His eyes scanned the apartment, immediately noticing two wine glasses on the coffee table.

Goofy's lanky frame was visibly tense as he stuttered, "H-hey Mick! Didn't expect ya! Just, uh, doing a little cleanin' up around here!" Sweat beaded on his forehead as he tried casually positioning himself between Mickey and the bedroom hallway.

Mickey pushed past him, acting oblivious. "Mind if I use your bathroom? Been holding it since I left work." Without waiting for permission, he headed toward the hallway bathroom, deliberately avoiding looking toward the bedroom where he knew Minnie was hiding.

After using the bathroom, Mickey returned to the living room, maintaining his act. He pointed to the wine glasses, "So, what's the name of the lady I met that was with you last weekend?

Goofy's eyes widened slightly, panicking at the question. "You-you mean LaKita?"

Mickey nodded slowly, his voice calm and casual. "Yeah, LaKita. The other day why did y'all sit out in the parking lot for over thirty minutes before coming inside? I was waiting to say hello."

Inside the closet, Minnie's heart pounded as she realized Mickey was playing some kind of game, testing Goofy's lies while knowing full well what was really happening.
