She Didn’t Know Him Pt. 4 | All The Answers

Man sitting inside his car looking at his phone

The question stuck to him like glue.

He didn’t want it to be true.

Kezia wasn’t perfect their history was complicated the way most long ex relationships are.

But he wouldn’t have never believed her to be the kind of woman who would go this far by having somebody follow me around and spy on me.

They co-parented.

They communicated.

They had found peace with each other.

But peace could be a mirage. He knew that too.

He pulled up Ansley’s number and didn’t call her just held the phone.

He needed to be sure before he just blame anyone for this.

Because if Kezia was behind this, because it would not only would affect me.

It affects his kids. And anything that affects his kids required him to move a certain way.

He took three photographs of the house.

Man taking pictures of a burgundy car

The driveway. The burgundy Accord.

Then he typed the address into his documentation booklet, added the timestamp, and sat back.

He looked down the street toward Kezia’s house.

The lights were on inside.

He could see the blue flicker of the TV through the curtain that’s the same way she always kept it, TV on before six, coffee before starting a conversation with you.

His son was probably in there still half asleep.

His daughter was probably already up drawing in that sketchbook she carried everywhere.

Damon breathed in. Breathed out.

He wasn’t going to blow this up today.

He was going to build the case first. He was going to know what to do before he moved.

And when he moved, he was going to be able to get a better idea of what’s happening.

But one thing had changed from all the mornings before this one.

He finally knew where she lived.

And now the question that mattered wasn’t just who is she.

But if someone sent her or not?

To be continued… Part 5 coming soon.
