It was 2024, and Bruce had gotten caught cheating for the third time. This time, he was in a hotel room with a woman he had met online. He was taking a bath when the woman called her two male friends over to rob him. They tied him up and gagged him and left him in the tub, and they stole his wallet and truck.
Bruce's wife had been calling family members looking for him, and she was frantic when she seen he hadn’t been home since yesterday and nobody couldn't find him. She called the police, and they asked her when was the last time you seen him. “We had an argument yesterday around 6:40 that evening he stormed out the house and that was the last time I saw him”. They continued their search looking for Bruce. The sun was rising and still no sign of Bruce. His phone was going to voicemail.
The police contacted his cellphone carrier and asked them could they pinpoint the time and location where his phone was lasted operating. The phone carrier put his number in the database and the last time and place it was 11:45 pm. at hotel Third Street. While the police were in pursuit to the hotel on Third Street.
That morning, the housekeeper was checking vacant rooms. She entered room 119 to get the linen out room to be cleaned. While stripping the room she heard weird noises coming from the bathroom. When the housekeeper opened the bathroom door she screamed and ran out the room to the lobby and was trying to catch her breath to tell the manager There’s a dead man in room 119 tub. The manager went to make sure the housekeeper saw what she said that someone was dead in the room. The walks to room 119 with a concerned look in her face. When the manager seen the man in the tub and immediately dialed 911 and the dispatcher tells her police should be there in 5 minutes. When the police arrived the housekeeper showed the police the room Bruce was tied up in. The police made sure he was responsive and not deceased.
When Bruce finally came through he was furious at the woman who had set him up, and he demanded that the police find her. After the paramedics checked him out for concussion protocol he was released and reunite with his family. Weeks later from the description of the lady his truck and the two assailant Bruce gave the police they were able to track her down, and she was arrested.
Bruce's wife was relieved to find him safe, and she was even more relieved that the woman who had set him up was in jail. She told Bruce that she was going to stay with her oldest daughter house to give him some time to recover and think about the trouble he put the family through. They were saying to give you another chance, but I don’t think you understand the consequences of your actions. He had promise to never cheat on her again.
Bruce promised his wife that he would never cheat on her again, and he meant it.
