"Fool Me Once, Shame On You"

Cheating girlfriend-"Fool Me Once, Shame On You"

It had been 10 long years of being together and Mary and Steve had built a life they thought was invincible. With Steve's secure job, they had a cozy little home in a quiet neighborhood and the feeling that nothing could break them apart.

However, after seven years together, Steve made the biggest mistake of his life. He decided to go be with another woman who lived down the street. Despite her pleas for him to stay, he chose to pursue the affair and moved in with her.

At first, it seemed as if he had found the woman he truly wanted to be with and the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. But the happiness soon dissipated and after a year he came to the realization that Mary was the one he was post to be with. So, despite his wrongdoings, he made the brave move to move back in with Mary.

But this was only the beginning of the heartbreak. With Steve having guilt for his actions, Mary found solace in the arms of a coworker. Despite all the hiding she did from Steve she decided to take the next step and move in with the other man.

This had broken Steve's heart and for the next few days he stayed broken, saying to himself “what goes around comes back around” Eventually, after a lot of thought and sadness, Steve accepted that the relationship was over and it was time to move on with his life.

Despite this breakup, Steve held on to the memory of the years they had spent together, cherishing the time he had shared with Mary as one of the greatest parts of his life.
