Steve, Tyrone , and Ted were finally checking into their hotel room after a long and exhausting day of traveling. However, when they entered their room, they discovered that they were assigned to the wrong room! Surprised by the sudden intrusion, they found a person already sleeping in the bed!
Steve, being the bold one, slowly reached over the sleeping man, making sure not to disturb him, to find out if this was the room that was booked for them. Suddenly, the sleeping man awoke, and with quick reflexes, Steve drew his hand back from the table next to the bed where the man's wallet lay. Ted the sneaky one had an idea, thinking the man was still sleeping, he quickly snuck the wallet away.
Just then, the man suddenly sprung up, grabbing Ted's wrist tightly in an attempt to get back his wallet. He screamed for help, trying to draw attention from the other hotel guests and alerting security but nobody came.
In an instant, Steve realized what was happening and jumped between the guest and Ted, as the guest reached into his night bag to retrieve his gun. He held the weapon, finger on the trigger, in the direction of Ted and told him to give the wallet back. Then all you heard was BANG! BANG!! the guest had shot his gun in a split second on target and the bullet going straight into Ted's arm.
Screaming with pain, Ted released the wallet to the ground, then the wallet was picked up by Steve and returned to the rightful owner. Shaken up, the friends ran out of the hotel and straight to their cars to rush Ted to the hospital.
They never found out what became of the guest and his wallet, but the lesson they learned that day was invaluable. In these moments one must never underestimate their opponent and should never assume they know more than they do.
