A Taste of Mystery
Jeremy arrived at his grandma's house, ready to help her out for the summer. As the afternoon was approaching, he his sweet tooth was letting him know it was time for something sweet. He walked into the kitchen, pulled the refrigerator door open, and looked around top and bottom inside of the refrigerator.
Hidden behind some containers, Jeremy spotted two jars that took his interest. He reached in and pulled them out, setting them on the kitchen table. To his surprise, it wasn’t your ordinary peanut butter and jelly. Instead, he found himself staring at a jar of Justin honey peanut butter and another filled with Smucker’s pineapple preserves.
A smile spread across Jeremy's face as he imagined what would this unique combination would taste like. He grabbed some bread from the breadbox and placed two slices on a paper plate. The sticky honey peanut butter was on one slice of bread and the sweet pineapple preserves was on the other slice of bread and then he cut the sandwich in half.
He looked down at the cut in half sandwich and picked up one half of the sandwich up then took a big bite of his unique sandwich, savoring the unbelievable and unexpected blend of flavors. It was in that moment Jeremy realized that sometimes the most delightful experiences come from the most unexpected places – even from the back of his grandma's fridge.
