On a beautiful spring afternoon around lunchtime a Rico and Janet were supposed to have a lunch date together but Rico wasn’t at work when his wife arrived. Janet quickly went to her iPhone and went find my app. and then all of a sudden Janet felt a jolt of energy course through her veins as she finally found out the address where her husband was supposed to be. All she had was a small inkling of doubt, but when she pulled up to the hotel and spotted her husband's truck in the parking lot, it seemed too obvious. Taking a deep breath and with a growing sense of trepidation, Janet approached the room door, knocked twice and stepped back, ready to see what or who would greet her.
Suddenly, the door opened and standing there was a man, who had a peculiar familiarity. “It’s me”, your husband Rico said in a calmly manner, Janet says “What’s going on why are you here you supposed to be at work and who are you here with. Rico says “Open the door and see for yourself.” Taking a deep breath and steeling herself, the wife pushed the door open.
Once inside the room, she turned on the lights her mouth gaped open in shock. Her husband standing at the door with his head down, of course, she had now seen the man with whom her husband had been having an affair with - her brother. And not just any affair - they had been seeing each other for 5 years, even before the wife and husband were married.
Anger and grief collided within her and with a strength she didn't know she had, she pushed passed the two of them and out of the hotel room. Tears of rage were streaming down her face as she shouted, you not the only one with secrets and “I want a divorce.” How could you and with my brother out of all people.
And with that, the wife left, not knowing what the future held for her.
