There was a man in B. R. City they called community man. Which means A man that goes around and be with as many women as he can. His named was Mack, also known as slick around the town of B. R. City. Mack, blessed with devilishly handsome looks, a killer charm, and charisma, was nothing short of a small-town Casanova.
Having broken more hearts before your tires can go bald on your car, and he also had an eccentric charm, which could melt even the coldest ones. He wasn't particularly loved for this, especially by the girls' families, but he was too smooth to hold any grudges against him. His shenanigans around the town were nothing less than just people talking, looking out their window blinds and exaggerating as usual.
One hot summer afternoon, after dropping off his mother long time friend and next door neighbor Mrs. Mackenzie's daughter from a picnic date, their she was walking to her mailbox Mack set his sights on the new neighbor that just moved in from out of town - Miss Rose. Mack famous for his smooth talking and grand gestures, Mack tried a different approach this time. A hundred roses arrived at Miss Rose's house every day for a week straight, anonymously of course.
Excited and curious, Rose wondered who the secret admirer was. After days of sweet suspense, Mack planned the big reveal. An exclusive invitation was sent to Rose for the city's annual summer festival where she would finally meet her secret admirer.
Festival day arrived, the entire city is out, knowing well enough that it would be another hot episode of Mack's Love Tales. Meanwhile, Mack, in all white shorts set looking sharp, walked confidently towards Miss. Rose, but tripped over the power cord for the DJ causing it to make an electrical spark then landing face first into the table with cakes and pies that was about to be judged on has the best in the next hour. To top it all off, we all are trying to figure out how did his pants fall to his knees?
B. R. city hadn't seen a funnier sight in a while. Mack covered in cake and pies, pulling his pants up with a little apple pie on top his head, standing in front of the beautiful Rose who had her hands covering her laughter.
Our poor Romeo got his heart pierced, not with Cupid's arrow but by a power cord from the Dj booth. The laughter was the evening's comedy scene that left everyone at the festival teary-eyed and laughing.
Despite the sugary-filled spectacle, Mack's pride didn't get in his way. He brushed off the cakes pieces buckling up his pants tight and stood up tall, declaring his affection for Rose that brought on even more laughter from the crowd.
Though Mack’s episode of his romantic exploit was met with a comedy of errors, The Community Man better known as Mr. Been With Everybody, showed no sign of ceasing his love ventures. So stay tuned, B. R. City, because who knows who our roving Romeo will be setting his sights on next!
If anyone says living in the big city is bad for you, they have clearly never lived in a big city that hosts a local legend like Mack also known as ”Slick”. Because every place is as lively as its people and Mack, undoubtedly, was the life of B. R. City!
