"Happily Ever After...Eventually”

Mike was mad and heartbroken after his girlfriend of three years left him. For the guy who is girlfriend said was her cousin well I should say her past lover. Mike was devastated and thinking that this guy was at almost all of her family functions looking like a……well that’s for the next chapter. Mike spent a few days at home, drowning in his own sadness and self-pity. Till One day, Mike decided that enough was enough, and he needed to take control of his life again.

Mike started going to the gym regularly, which made him feel better and more energized. He also took up a new hobby of painting and writing found it therapeutic to express his emotions on paper and on a canvas. Soon enough, Mike was a new man, filled with confidence and optimism.

One day, as he was walking through the park, he saw his ex-girlfriend, Sarah, holding hands with a new guy. Mike felt angry as memories flooded back. However, he took a deep breath and remembered all the let downs and the cheating that she did with her family playing their part in it. To remembering the hard work he had put into himself and his life. He knew he had come too far to let one moment of seeing his ex with someone else knock him back down.

Instead of confronting them or acting impulsively, Mike said in his head ‘oh she likes bums good luck with that’ and walked away with his head held high, knowing that he had grown and evolved since their breakup. He  knew deep down that the relationship was a waste of time and wish he could’ve seen the signs earlier before spending his money. He also reminded himself that everyone deserves to move on and find happiness, even if that means with someone else.

From that day on, Mike continued to focus on his own life and goals, knowing that true happiness came from within. And who knows? Maybe one day he'll even find someone new who makes him even happier than before.
