Suzy sat at the bar sipping her cocktail and checking out the Friday night crowd. Her eyes kept locking in on this tall bearded man across the room.
"Do you see that tall handsome guy with the beard?" Suzy friend Amy asked.
Suzy blushed. "Yes. There's just something about a man with a well-groomed beard."
"I know right?" "My husband grew one last year. I just love running my fingers through it." Amy replied.
"What are y’all talking about?" Their other friend Jessica said.
"Beards," Amy replied. "Suzy's got her eye on one."
Jessica looks around. Where?
Amy: “9:00”
Jessica: "Oh!” ”Oh my!” He does look meaty. Them damn beards can make a man seem so...dominant in the right position."
The ladies giggled, the conversation turning more intimate as they shared what they found appealing about men with beards.
Suzy finally worked up the courage to step to the approach the bearded man. As she walked over she wondered what other surprises the night might hold.
Suzy approached the bearded man, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. As she got closer she caught his eye and smiled.
"Hi," she said. "I'm Suzy."
"It’s a pleasure to meet you, Suzy. I'm Damien," he replied.
His deep smooth voice gave hers chills throughout her body. They began talking and Suzy found herself hypnotized not from the way he looked but by his warm personality and positive attitude.
As the night went on, their connection grew. Suzy was impressed by how Damien's is a great listener. His voice, a rich melody, added with an extra layer of appeal to everything he said.
By the end of the night, Suzy knew she wanted to see Damien again. As they exchanged numbers she felt confident that something could develop between them.
